Study finds worker fatalities at construction sites on the rise

The Center for Construction Research and Training found construction worker deaths are on the rise with 532 fatalities from 2011 to 2016. The most common causes were caused by struck-by incidents. Construction workers who worked as crossing guards had the highest risk of injury. MORE

Study shows education can help prevent sun damage

A study from the American Association for Cancer Research found positive results from companies educating workers on using sunscreen. The study examined the impact of different types of interventions, such as education only or education and text messages, to see which method was the most effective. The study found 30-minute sessions prevailed as the most effective. MORE
